All-Church Movie Night --May 8. 6:45 light supper of grilled burgers followed by the 7:15 screening of “The Adjustment Bureau.”

Free parenting class with Chris Tutak -- May 26 from 11:00AM to noon in the Lounge. Lunch and childcare provided.

Bunco BUNCH -- May 31, 7:30PM. Bring your dice-rolling hands to the Lounge.

Basketball Fellowship continues on Saturday mornings at 9:00AM, plus Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:00PM on the church sports court.

May 3: National Day of Prayer. People of all different faiths in the US are asked to prayer for the nation and its leaders. The prayer chapel will be open from 9:00 to 6:00 to accommodate any who wish to participate.

May 5: “Heal the Bay” event at 1600 Ocean Front Walk, north of Pier, Santa Monica.

May 12: The annual UMW Mother-Daughter brunch in the Lounge, 10:30 to noon. Entertainment provided by the Serendipity Hand Bell choir.

May 13: Missions Sunday. Please bring non-perishable proteins to donate to the food pantry. They’re especially interested in tuna, peanut butter and chili.

May 14: Martha Circle, 11:00 at the home of Betty Hogarth.

May 16: Ruth Circle at 7:30.

May 17: the Wesley School Spring Concert at 7:00PM in the Sanctuary.

May 20: Malaria Sunday. Please donate $600 to go toward life-saving treated mosquito bed nets.

May 21: Tabitha Circle. Meet at 10:30 in the Hand in Hand Room.

May 22: the United Methodist Men meet at 7:30 in the Lounge.
